8th Grade students will complete their sports physicals during their freshman preview day at Erie High School
Monday, May 18th, Erie High School is hosting free sports physicals. All GMS students with a completed and signed physical form will travel to Erie High School for a free sports physical. 5th grade students will be transported directly to EHS the morning of May 18th. 5th grade physicals will start at 8:00 AM. 7th grade physicals will start at 8:40 AM. 6th grade physicals will begin at 9:30 AM.
8th grade students will remain at Erie High School for a full day high school orientation. 8th grade students will get their sports physicals throughout the day.
If you would like your student to have a free sports physical, completed and sign physical and concussion forms need to be turned in to the Galesburg Middle School office by Friday, May 15th. Your student received these forms at school.

The play will begin at 8:30 AM in the Erie High School auditorium. All students will be transported directly to the high school.
When the play is done, students will be transported back to Galesburg Middle School to finish their school day.
-7/8 will stay at EHS after first hour and return to GMS by 10:15, they will eat second breakfast
-5th will depart GMS at 12:30 and return by 2:00
-6th band and choir will depart GMS around 2 and stay at EHS all day, they will need to ride bus back to EES, etc.
6:30 PM Concert is 5th Band, 6th Band, Choir - Arrive by 6:15
7:30 PM Concert is 7/8 Band, HS Band - Arrive by 7:15

-Students who need a ride from Galesburg will need to board the route bus at Galesburg Christian Church at 6:50 AM.
-5th and 6th grade students will be shuttled to the fairgrounds from Erie Elementary first thing in the morning.
- 7th and 8th grade students will report to Erie High School as they normally do, and then be shuttled to the fairgrounds.
Due to transportation needs, students attending the WindSurge trip tomorrow will be leaving Wichita at 1:45 PM to return back to Erie Elementary by 3:50 PM to board route buses. Students that live in Galesburg will need to ride the route bus back to GMS. As a reminder, clear bags will be allowed, but not cell phones.
