Wednesday, May 20, 2026 our students will participate in an evacuation drill. This will be a simple evacuation drill and will not be an active shooter drill. We can practice safety without creating trauma. Research shows this is the most productive way for us to drill. We just wanted to make sure our families are aware.

LAST NOTICE
FREE physicals tomorrow for all 5th -11th grade. You MUST have your physical paper filled out and signed by a parent or guardian. No signature = no physical.
Drivers education payment must be turned in by May 20.
Physicals - Monday, May 18th. Get your required paperwork turned in to get one.
Please find attached the letter concerning senior activities and commencement. We handed out caps, gowns, and picture forms today. Graduation will begin at 5:00 p.m. on May 16, 2026 with doors opening to the community at 4:00. All seniors will need to be here by 8:00 am on Wednesday for practice and will need to arrive by 4:00 p.m. on graduation day. The Senior Awards will take place on Wednesday, May 13th at 9:30 in the auditorium and families are welcome to attend.

Please help us get this paperwork back, so your child can get a physical done at EHS on Monday, May 18. Good for 2026-27 school year.

Track at Pleasanton has been canceled due to the uncertainty of the weather. Thank you Pleasanton for putting our athletes first.
CHANGES:
SOFTBALL - postponed for a later date.
BASEBALL will be pushed back an hour with a start time of 3:30. Bus will leave at 1:30.
Baseball and softball at Neodesha has been canceled for Friday, April 10th due to field conditions. As of right now, these JV games will not be made up.
JV softball games at Uniontown are canceled for today, 4/3/26, due to the field being too wet!
Baseball/Softball games have been moved to Humboldt with a start time of 4:30. Senior night will be rescheduled.
JV Golf is still a go at Sedan with a start time of 3:00! Let's go Erie Red Devils!

EHS is excited to host a Pre-Enrollment Extravaganza tomorrow! Students will explore elective options for next year, hear from an NCCC college representative about opportunities available to high school students, attend the ICC Rural Outreach Career Fair at Oswego High School, and complete their pre-enrollment paperwork. Seniors will also have dedicated time to work on scholarship applications. Students will have the chance to contact parents to schedule their student-led conferences, which will take place on February 24 and 26.
